Rev. Dr. Francis Tam, Chair

Rev. Dr. Francis Tam is currently the Senior Pastor of North Toronto Chinese Alliance Church in Ontario, Canada. In 1980, Dr. Tam graduated from the Technical University of Nova Scotia in Chemical Engineering and practiced as a Professional Engineer for twelve years. After faithfully serving many years as a church elder, under God calling, he obtained his Master of Divinity degree from Ontario Theological Seminary (1994) and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Trinity International University in Chicago (2000). Dr. Tam served as a church planter in Ottawa (1994) and a senior pastor in Toronto (1998). While serving as the Executive Director of Canadian Chinese Alliance Churches Association (2002-2014), Dr. Tam led 90 Chinese Alliance churches in Canada in the areas of pastoral fellowship, local church planting and global missions. In 2002, under the CCCOWE spirit of promoting Chinese theological education in Canada, Dr. Tam participated in founding the Association of Canadian Chinese Theological Education till now. In 2005, Dr. Tam also helped organize the inaugural Chinese Alliance World Fellowship, creating a communicative platform for Chinese Alliance churches around the world. Besides pastoring, Dr. Tam has served as an adjunct faculty at Ambrose University (since 2003), Canadian Chinese School of Theology (since 2006) and Tyndale University College’s Doctor of Ministry program (since 2012). Dr. Tam and his wife Pamela now reside in Richmond Hill and God has blessed them with six grandchildren.


Rev. Franco Chan, Secretary

Rev. Fanco Chan received a M.Div. in 1999 at Ontario Theological Seminary (now known as Tyndale Seminary). He has been serving at Grace Chinese Gospel Church of North York since 1999 and is their senior pastor at present.


Mr. Paul Ng, Treasurer

A retired pharmacist with a MBA degree from U of T, also received his Master of Theological Studies from Tyndale Seminary. He has served as an ordained deacon in Markham Chinese Baptist Church ( since 1991. His major involvement is to provide administrative support to the ministry.
